Announcing for 2013: The return of Daily Cardboard Kid!

Yes indeed, the Kid is returning to daily updates, beginning January 1st 2013. There's a whole new site set-up and ready to go at http://todaycardboardkid.tumblr.com.

So what can you expect from the Kid in the year ahead? Well,  as you may be aware Cardboard Kid does like to go exploring, so unlike 365 Days of Cardboard Kid he's going out into the world, with a number of recent explorations not having yet appeared online.I'm also planning on featuring a few of his past adventures as well, but those will probably be kept to a minimum.

Also, there's no end point planned for this new project - it's going to keep on trucking until either the petrol runs dry or the wheels fall off, whichever happens first.

So come January 1st, click on over to http://todaycardboardkid.tumblr.com/ and have a look what he's been up to.

Cardboard Kid visits The Wild West

Somehow or other, Cardboard Kid fell through a time-hole and ended up in some alternative version of the wild west - a wild wild west perhaps (if you'd excuse the awful reference to that Will Smith film).Luckily, he was back in time for tea.

Cardboard Kid had a lovely little weekend away exploring Scarborough and Whitby, sunning himself down on the beach and having someone carry him up the 199 steps - you don't think he'd actually walk up them himself?

Cardboard Kid's Adventures with Crispin Cresswell

Last week, I discovered that Cardboard Kid had been making appearances in the photography work of Crispin Cresswell. Crispin is currently working his way through a 366 day photography project and the Kid has made two appearances so far. Both are featured below and  I suggest you go take a look at the rest of the project as there's some marvellous photography to have a look at.

Large Cardoard Kid enjoyed the sunshine so much he fentured forth to beach. Unfortunately he didn't get to go for a paddle as he'd forgotten his swimming trunks! Silly Cardboard Kid!
